Fitter: Applicants should have successfully completed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 System of education. This apprenticeship program spans over two years, providing comprehensive training in the field of fitting and assembly.
Welder (Gas & Electric): Individuals interested in becoming welders should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 System of education. This apprenticeship program has a duration of one year and three months, offering hands-on experience in both gas and electric welding techniques.
Medical Laboratory Technicians: Aspiring medical laboratory technicians must have completed the 12th class examination under the 10+2 system of education with a focus on physics, chemistry, and biology (achieving a minimum of 50% aggregate marks). This apprenticeship program also spans one year and three months, providing training in laboratory procedures and techniques essential for medical diagnostics.
Note: (a) Minimum 50% marks in SSLC not applicable for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.
(b) Individuals possessing higher qualifications such as diplomas/degrees, engineering, polytechnic degrees, or those who have already completed a course as apprentices in railway establishments are ineligible to apply.
(c) Candidates must have already completed the required qualification as of the date of notification issuance. Those currently taking the qualifying examination or awaiting results are not eligible.
Minimum Academic/Technical Qualifications for EX-ITI Category:
Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Mechanic-Motor Vehicle Applicants must have passed 10th grade (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) with Science and Mathematics under the 10 +2 System of education, completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from a Government recognized ITI, and possess a certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training in their respective trade. One Year
Welder (Gas & Electric), Carpenter, Plumber, Mechanic-Machine Tool Maintenance, Mechanic-Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanic-Diesel, Electronics Mechanic, Painter (General II) Applicants must have passed 10th grade (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10 +2 System of education, completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from a Government recognized ITI, and possess a certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training in their respective trade. One Year
Wireman Applicants must have passed 10th grade (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10 +2 System of education, completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from a Government recognized ITI, and possess a certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training in the trades of Wireman and Electrician. One Year
Programming and Systems Administration Assistant (PASAA) Applicants must have passed 10th grade (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10 +2 System of education and possess a National Trade Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training in "Computer Operator and Programming." One Year
Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance (ICTSM) Applicants must have passed 10th grade (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10 +2 System of education, completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from a Government recognized ITI, and possess a certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training in the trades of Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance, Information Technology and Electronic System Maintenance, or Broad Based Basic Training in the Information Technology Sector under the Centre of Excellence Scheme and Advanced module of Centre of Excellence Scheme in Repair and Maintenance of Hardware of Computer and Peripherals. One Year
Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) Applicants must have passed 10th grade (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10 +2 System of education, completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from a Government recognized ITI, and possess a certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training in their respective trade. One Year
Advanced Welder Applicants must have passed 10th grade (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10 +2 System of education, completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from a Government recognized ITI, and possess a certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training in the trades of Broad Based Basic Training in Production and Manufacturing Sector under the Centre of Excellence Scheme and Advanced module of Centre of Excellence Scheme in Advanced Welding or Welder. One Year
SSA (Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant) Applicants must have passed 10th grade (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10 +2 System of education, completed an ITI course in the relevant trade from a Government recognized ITI, and possess a certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training in the trades of Stenography (English) or Secretarial Practice. One Year

The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 22/24 years for Freshers/Ex-ITI, MLT Respectively
The upper age is relaxable by 3 Years for OBC candidates, 5 Years for SC/ST candidates and 10 Years for Persons with disability (PwBD).
Rate of Stipend: Stipend will be paid as per the directions of Railway Board’s circular RBE 202/2019 dated 26.11.2019 under the directives of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Notification dated 25m September 2019.
