Govt Jobs Eligibility Details: Applicants should be completed the following education criteria below are the educational qualifications to look for employment as declared by the TNMAWS Tamil Nadu Recruitment 2024
The candidates must have Diploma / Degree qualification from a recognized Board/University.
Assistant Engineer (Corporation) – Candidates must hold a B.E. degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a B.Tech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or any equivalent qualification.
Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical) – Candidates must possess a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a university or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Additionally, a degree in Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering awarded by Anna University is recognized as equivalent to B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) for this post. Preference will be given to individuals with a master’s degree in Public Health Engineering from a UGC-recognized university or institution, or those who have passed sections A and B of the A.M.I.E. examination.
Assistant Engineer (Municipality) – Candidates must have a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution.
Assistant Engineer (Civil) – A degree in Civil Engineering from any UGC-recognized university or institution is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Engineering.
Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) – Candidates must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering from any UGC-recognized university or institution. Preference will be given to those with a Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Engineering.
Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – Candidates must have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering from any UGC-recognized university or institution. Preference will be given to individuals with a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or those who have passed sections A and B of the A.M.I.E. Examination with Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Assistant Engineer (Planning) (Corporation) – Candidates must hold a degree in Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or any equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution. Preference will be given to those who have completed a Master's Degree in Planning.
Town Planning Officer Grade-II /Assistant Engineer (Planning) (Municipality) – Candidates must possess a degree in Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or any equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution. Preference will be given to those with a Master's Degree in Planning.
Junior Engineer – Candidates must hold a licentiate in Civil Engineering or licentiate in Sanitary Engineering Diploma or D.C.E. awarded by the State Board of Technical Examination and Training, Madras, or any diploma recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu as equivalent.
Technical Assistant – Candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, or its equivalent.
Draughtsman (Corporation) – Candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, or its equivalent.
Draughtsman (Municipality) – Candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Overseer – Candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Town Planning Inspector /Junior Engineer (Planning) – Candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Planning or Diploma in Architecture from any institution. Preference will be given to those with a PG Diploma in Town Planning.
Work Inspector – Candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an institute approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Sanitary Inspector (Corporation & Municipality) – Candidates must hold a B.Sc degree in Zoology allied with Chemistry or Chemistry allied with Zoology, or a B.Sc degree in Public Health or Environmental Science or Microbiology or Bio-Chemistry. Additionally, candidates must have completed the Sanitary Inspector course from any institution approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Note: The educational qualifications mentioned for these posts should be obtained by passing the required educational qualifications in the following order: 10th + HSC/Diploma + Undergraduate Degree + Postgraduate Degree, as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. The results of the examination should have been declared on or before the date of this Notification. [Section 20 (4) (iv) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act 2016]
